Warehouse Manager - 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

We’re hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Manager to run evening operations and make sure everything is ready, organized, and locked in for the next day. This role is all about ownership, attention to detail, and pride in doing things the right way.

You are the final checkpoint before our installation crews hit the road each morning—if you do your job well, the entire operation runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:


Fleet Management & Maintenance

  • Fueling: Ensure all trucks are fueled and ready for the morning dispatch.
  • Inspections: Conduct daily walk-arounds of vehicles to notate any new damage, maintenance needs, or inspection requirements.
  • Service Coordination: Drive and drop off vehicles at service centers for scheduled maintenance or repairs as needed.

Logistics & Material Handling

  • Inbound: Offload box trucks returning from the field. Sort and return leftover materials to their proper warehouse locations.
  • Outbound: Load kitted jobs into box trucks according to the next day’s schedule, ensuring loads are secure and accurate.

Inventory & Asset Control

  • Vehicle Inventory: Conduct nightly checks of vehicle contents to ensure all standard inventory is present.
  • Tool Management: Inspect tools for damage and verify that no tools are missing from the trucks.
  • Consumables Tracking: Restock and track usage of key consumables (drill bits, wax crayons, saw blades, etc.) to prevent shortages.

Facility Maintenance & Security

  • Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse floor. Ensure aisles are clear and safe.
  • Facility Checks: Check restrooms for cleanliness or maintenance issues ("disturbances").
  • Closing Procedures: Perform a final security sweep, ensure all assets are locked up, and turn off all warehouse lights/systems before ending the shift.


Qualifications:


  • 1+ year of experience in solar, roofing, construction, or similar field preferred
  • Ability to safely access and work on rooftops, ladders, and attic spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
  • Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and digital tools
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Professional and courteous communication with customers
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and/or construction practices a plus
